The last bell in the "First Ukrainian School" in Krakow - Unbreakable Ukraine

The last bell in the “First Ukrainian School” in Krakow

On last Friday, the First Ukrainian School in Krakow was full of Ukrainian flags, music and dancing, because our students had the Last Day at School! 🇺🇦

UNICEF representatives attended the solemn part:

 🔸 Rashed Mustafa Sarwar, UNICEF Senior Emergency Coordinator in Poland;

 🔹 Paloma Escuderos, Director of the Division of Global Communications and Advocacy.

Rashed delivered a speech and said: «Ukrainian pupils, while you are in Poland, we will do our best to keep you healthy, happy and well educated until you return to Ukraine».

Then the Last Day at school was traditionally opened under the anthem of Ukraine.

Fedor Efremov, our pupil, played the saxophone, and a classmate supported the performance with a dance with Rashed. It was a lot of fun.

Each class tried to show their talents, so the celebration turned into a real festival!

The holiday ended with a touching performance of the 11th grade, who sang «Ukraine is you» together — with parents and teachers.
