On June 3, representatives of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), which has opened a special office in Poland to respond to the situation in Ukraine, visited Kraków’s “First Ukrainian School in Poland,” which currently educates about 270 Ukrainian children! 🥰
Paloma Escudero (Director of the Division of Global Communications and Advocacy) and Rashed Mustafa (UNICEF Senior Emergency Coordinator in Poland) spent the first hour in the classroom and interacted with the students.
Some of the pupils even shared their stories with the guests. Paloma then joined the children in sports 🤓 The meeting ended with a last call celebration!
UNICEF is financially supporting the “First Ukrainian School in Poland”.
Look how it was.
