After the evacuation from Kherson, Mariupol, Kyiv region and other populated areas of Ukraine, a void was formed in the lives of these teachers – they wanted to devote themselves to teaching, but when they found themselves in Poland — they did not imagine whether they would ever be able to write “Classy work“ on the blackboard.. It seemed that there were no prerequisites for the emergence of a Ukrainian school, but already this year, teachers from different parts of Ukraine met their professional holiday in the walls of the “ First Ukrainian School “ in Poland.
“ Dear colleagues, on the day of our holiday, I want to write words of gratitude to all the employees of the “ Unbreakable Ukraine “ foundation. You have also already become education workers, without you we would not be able to work. Dear Victoria, you didn’t just open schools, you brought us back to life!»
Natalya Rovytska, Varshava
Although our teachers do not have to teach in basements or storage rooms, do not have to fear the explosions and rockets that started the school year in Ukraine, they have an extremely difficult duty on their shoulders — to preserve the national self-identity of Ukrainian children, to restore their trust in the world and their thirst for creation.
“I am glad to be a member of the powerful creative team of “Unbreakable Ukraine” and to help my compatriots abroad. The work we do together is a real battle not only for knowledge, but also for the consciousness and spiritual condition and development of students, many of whom, unfortunately, have directly encountered the horrors of war. I try to live up to expectations regarding the educational process and create an atmosphere of trust and comfort within the walls of the school.”
Olena Klyuchnikova, Krakow
“In difficult times, together we continue to bring knowledge to the younger generation, give the opportunity to rejoice, learn new things and improve our talents.”
Inna Marusova, Wroclaw
Inna, Wroclaw Thanks to the forces that teachers give to the school, children have the opportunity to live at least partially the life they had in Ukraine. And this is noticeable in how sincerely and warmly they welcome new teachers with whom they spent only a month in the new academic year.
Trust and democratic relations between teachers and students were demonstrated by a special issue from our school in Wrocław, in which teachers shared with schoolchildren their worries, funny stories, and also sincerely answered the psychological questions of children.
Our teachers received many more wonderful words of thanks, which can be conveyed in the apt words of Victoria Gnap, president of the “ Unbreakable Ukraine ” foundation:
“All the achievements of the school, of which I am sincerely proud, became possible only with our teachers. Our project is called a flagship, and it becomes possible thanks to you!
A teacher is a profession from God, and all other professions are from God and the teacher! »
