As of this week, 24 groups of 5-6-year-old Ukrainian preschoolers, 740 children, are studying in 12 cities in Poland at the School of Future First Grader. This is already half of the maximum number of places we can finance.
We continue to carefully search for teachers and negotiate the rental of premises with Polish schools so that the rest of the children can go to our classes. In total, we received about 2,000 applications. Opening groups is not easy for us. Only in some Polish schools do we have access to interactive whiteboards or laptops. Together with our skilled teachers, despite all the difficulties, we organize visual and interactive learning. Our ultimate goal is that after the School of Future First Grader, the children will be able to continue their studies steadily in any Ukrainian school according to the new standards or go to a public Polish school. Now we are negotiating with the Polish Ministerstwo Edukacji i Nauki to give our preschool official status. Then we will be able to issue documents on Polish school readiness. This is a difficult process because our institution is registered in Ukraine, where such certificates are not provided, but we have great hope for the negotiations. Закрити
